Viltrox AF 85mm F1.8 Full Frame Lens For Nikon Z-Mount

If you're thinking of buying this lens, don't waste your money. It may work fine for a while then all of a sudden it just stops autofocusing and will not change aperture. It will not even work with manual focus. And will not connect to PC. Invalid USB device. Also be aware that there is absolutely no product support at all once the lens is out of warranty. I tried contacting them via email and text chat and after waiting a week, I was absolutely ghosted. So if your after a brick to use as a door stop, go right ahead.

I bought the 85 mm for my Nikon Z6. But I upgrade my camera to a Z8 and now is the 85mm not working. Is there a solution for this problem?

I am very supriced of the quality and build from this lens, to my suprice mine came also with an USB-C port and did have the latest firmware.
It’s my first offbrand lens that I’ve bought, and I am very satisfied. I even think that the bokeh balls are more round then the native lens from Nikon.

I got mine from VIltrox France store in 6 days. Lens is impressive as overall outside look and feel as well the optics perfomance. Probably I can't see full optic shine at 24 megapixels sensor.
What surprised me on positive way my lens has USB c-type interface (micro USB expected).
If lens have dust-moisture protection it would be perfect.

This was my first lens i got for my Nikon z5. For someone who is new to photo, going from a kit lens to this was a game changer. Other than that it feels amazing and really smooth operating focus wheel. Overall its a really nice lens, and specially considering the price
